About Mysuru Foods

If there is anything that unites us all South Indians, it would definitely be our love for our food – idli, dosa, rice, rasam, sambar, chatni, curds, upma, kesaribath, payasam, appalam, holige, sandige, chatni pudi, Mysore pak, congress kadlekai, hurigalu, etc., and the list goes on. They evoke fond memories spent with family and friends while growing up. When it comes to Mysore and Bangalore, the taste buds become more precisely inclined. Think of our hometowns and our faces light up with the thought of all the sweets, snacks and savouries from popular joints. We Indians are definitely in love with our food! We truly believe that the way to a man’s heart passes through his stomach!
As we know, most well-known stores in Bangalore and Mysore may accept to courier their products directly to you, but seldom do they merge them with foods from multiple shops. This is where we come into picture. We can simply buy everything you want from anywhere, put them together in one place, and courier it as one package, and in the process, optimize efforts, time and packaging costs for you. We could even buy non-food items as long as the requirements are clearly defined. In short, we aggregate all your needs and put them in one basket.

Mysuru Foods offers you four-fold services through its four Verticals.

Our first service is to fetch food items and non-food items from your favorite stores in Bangalore and Mysore.

Our second service is to receive to our premises all the orders placed by you online.  We put this together with the other items that you may ordered with us.

Our third service is in the area of NRI Services where we wish
to assist you in your legal/official/parental/property-related work in Bangalore or Mysore. If any student of Indian origin wishes to pursue his Engineering in Bangalore, we could help too.

Our fourth and last service is to introduce to you products and goods from villages, NGO’s, craftsmen, artists, etc., who need a platform to showcase their skills to our own people who live abroad.

Phaneesh Kalalé Raghavendra Rao
Founder and Creator
Phaneesh is the creator of Mysuru Foods Concept. He is an ex-Professor from M. S. Ramaiah Institute of Technology, Bangalore. He is an alumnus of UVCE and MSRIT, both at Bangalore. Currently he works in the space of tourism as Incredible India Tourist Guide mainly with French clients. He offers Travel Experiences to international visitors to Bangalore through his website www.bangaloreandbeyond.com. He is also conceiving outbound experiences for Indians through his website www.videshiyatra.com. He considers Mysuru Foods initiative as a service to our NRI brethren as much as it is a business venture.
Ashana Kannimbele
Co-Founder
She is the co-founder of Mysuru Foods. She is also the Director of her own firm www.acengage.com which focuses on employee engagement and retention. It was a first-of-its-kind initiative in India when it was started in 2007. She has an MBA in HR from Bangalore University. Ashana has a great nose for good food and you will promptly enjoy the results of it! Even she considers it a service to be able to send desi food from here to our folks who live abroad.
Vanaja Vhavle
Head of Operations
Vanaja Vhavle (nee Vanaja Kalale) lives in Malleswaram, Bengaluru, and has this wonderful ability to pick out the best foods from the best stores across the city. You name the dish and she knows where it is best sourced from. In fact, at the end of the day, it is she who is the Head of Operations who ensures that everything is packed as per order before they are shipped out. In short, Vanaja is the key person of Mysuru Foods and is responsible for all the checkouts.
Rajesh V. Rao
The Mysore Man
He is a quintessential Mysorean who knows half of Mysore. And the other half knows him! Rajesh holds a PG degree in Commerce and currently works for a Construction Company. He also runs a company called VeGo Travels and has his own Mysore NRI Services wing.
Smriti Bhanu Rao
The Food Technician
She is the official food technician in the Team. She earned her Hotel Management degree from Manipal University. Later she added an international flavour to her credentials by doing her “Masters in Food Culture, Communications and Marketing” from Università degli studi di scienze gastronomiche, Pollenzo, Italy before interning at a Chocolate manufacturing Company at Trinidad, West Indies. Currently she is a teaching fellow at Teach For India in Bangalore.
Sharada Kalale
Confirmed Foodie
Sharada is pursuing Law at Manipal Law School, Bangalore, and is a confirmed foodie! She brings her awesome tasting ability to the table. She is a budding entrepreneur and wants to take this venture to the next level!
